We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the Bella experience:
- Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Auth)
- Profile data — your display name, birthday (optional), and avatar preference
- Usage data — message count, login streak, hearts balance, and premium status
- Chat history — stored locally on your device only (localStorage), never on our servers
- Gallery images — stored locally on your device only
- Settings — theme, sound, and notification preferences (stored locally)
💜 Your chat messages are never stored on our servers. They live only on your device and are deleted when you clear your chat.
We use your data only to:
- Create and manage your Bella account
- Track your login streak and reward bonus hearts
- Remember your preferences and settings across sessions
- Show birthday surprises if you provide your birthdate
- Manage your hearts balance and premium status
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside of the services listed below.
Bella uses the following third-party services to function:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and user data storage. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy
- Pollinations AI — image generation. Images are generated via public API prompts. No personal data is sent.
- Hugging Face — chat AI and text-to-speech APIs. Messages are sent to process responses but are not stored by us.
- Google AdSense — display advertising. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads. See Google's ad privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — typography. No personal data is collected.
Bella is powered by artificial intelligence. Please keep the following in mind:
- Bella can and does make mistakes. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- Bella is not a substitute for professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise.
- Bella is a fictional AI companion and does not have feelings, consciousness, or real-world awareness.
- Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, ID numbers) in chat.
- Generated images are AI-created and do not represent real people or places.
⚠️ Bella can make mistakes. Always verify important information from trusted sources.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can:
- Clear your chat history and gallery anytime using the 🗑️ button in the app
- Request complete account deletion by emailing us at user.alpha0x44@gmail.com
- We will process deletion requests within 14 days
Bella uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your chat history, gallery, and settings on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
Google AdSense may use cookies for ad personalization. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
Bella is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at user.alpha0x44@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
